Your Path at Grassroots Gymnastics
At Grassroots Gymnastics, we view every athlete’s journey as a unique progression. We have carefully structured our curriculum to support your child from their very first tumble to high-level competition. As the premier destination for Charleston gymnastics, we offer distinct pathways tailored to age, ability, and ambition.
Program Flow
The Seedlings: Preschool Progression
Our journey begins with the "Seedlings" program. Toddlers start in Parent + Tot, building a bond with their caregivers while exploring movement. As they grow, they move into age-specific Preschool 3 and Preschool 4 classes.
From here, the path branches based on readiness. Most gymnasts graduate to Kinder, the bridge between preschool and recreational classes.
Alternatively, gymnasts demonstrating exceptional focus may be invited to Advanced Preschool, a fast-paced track preparing them for future competitive opportunities.
Recreational Growth
Our Charleston rec gymnastics program is designed to build confidence and strength for school-aged children. The flow is progressive and skill-based:
- Beginner: Building the basics on all apparatus.
- Intermediate: Refining technique and connecting skills.
- Advanced: Mastering complex progressions and strength.
Gymnasts move up through these levels by mastering specific skill milestones, ensuring safety and success at every step.
Competitive Team
For athletes who are ready to take their skills to the next level, we offer a celebrated Charleston competitive gymnastics program. Entry into this track is by invitation only.
- Athletes may be invited to Pre-Team from either the Advanced Preschool class or the Advanced Recreational level.
- Pre-Team prepares gymnasts for the commitment and rigor of the full Competitive Team.

Membership Fee:
All Students will be charged an annual membership fee of $50/child, or $100/family (2 or more children). This fee is good for 12 months and covers any classes and camps.
